Right on the primary street, between the Mount Gambier Public Library and the town hall, are the Cave Gardens, one other sunken backyard in Mount Gambier. The space has lovely gardens, great for stress-free through the day, and getting some nice pictures. Unlike most other caves in the area, these are dry caves, so no stalagmites or stalactites. Even though they’re referred to as “dry”, in reality, a lot of the caves are actually crammed with water, forming lakes.
